Chic Seaside Retreat in La Jolla

This property has a large enclosed backyard and is dog friendly with an additional non-refundable pet fee of $150 per dog. We allow dogs 30 lbs or less. Please let us know before booking if you intend to bring any dogs with you. We require info including their breed, gender, weight, and age.  You are responsible for your dogs and any damage they incur during your stay. 

We love children and want you to know that they are more than welcome as our guests. This means that children of any age, even infants, are counted as guests in your guest count. Please let us know in advance the ages of all children and whether you require a pack and play or anything else. 

The house is thoroughly cleaned between each stay. However if you wish for a cleaning and change of linens during your stay we can arrange for the housekeeper to come for an additional charge of the standard cleaning fee. Please give us one day's notice so we can get this scheduled.

Your hosts, Janet & Scott, are the property managers. We are Super Hosts and care about your experience. We are easily available via messaging plus we provide you with our cell phone numbers if any emergencies arise.  We live nearby and can easily come by and assist you with anything you need. Plus we do have several helpers who assist us.

Bird Rock is a seaside neighborhood within the larger community of La Jolla in San Diego, California. It lies on the Pacific Ocean at the southernmost end of La Jolla, just north of Pacific Beach. It is a laid-back upscale neighborhood known for beautiful ocean views, cozy restaurants, and charming little boutiques. Local lore maintains the neighborhood was named after an offshore rock, that - you guessed it - was shaped like a bird but the arch was eroded by wave action and finally collapsed a few years ago.
